OUR FABRICS
OUR FABRICS
When we set out to make PPE, we were led first and foremost by a commitment to make masks of the highest quality. Not all masks are equal; the difference in performance and protection hinges on the quality of the fabrics used. An exhaustive search led us to a textile company in Milan, Italy which produces the highest quality Meltblown and Spunbond fabrics.
NON-WOVEN
MELTBLOWN
Meltblown, the filtering fabric used in all our masks, is produced by spraying the media in liquid form over a plate. The liquid is quickly cooled to produce a powerful filtration fabric.
Our Meltblown is produced in Northern Italy, using a unique patented process which ensures even spray distribution, and in the final product delivers a highly reliable filtration not seen in Meltblown fabrics produced elsewhere.
NON-WOVEN
SPUNBOND
We use Spunbond fabric for the outermost and innermost layers of our masks. Spunbond is made of continuous filaments which are spun, arranged in a tight matrix, and bonded to create the finished fabric.
This process results in a fabric that is strong, lightweight, and water-resistant. Our Spunbond is also silky-soft and skin friendly.
