Our founder, Marleen Vogelaar, bridged the tech and textiles worlds in 2015 when she founded Ziel and started making high-performance apparel on demand, in the US. And when Covid-19 hit the United States, she immediately began to do it again. With support from the public and private sector, a team of experts in medical textiles, textile technology, and PPE manufacturing was assembled. The result: Hudson Valley Mask Company.
We’ve invested in bringing manufacturing back to our little corner of the US, to help supply us all with PPE. We have sought the highest levels of certification for our masks and our factory, because ensuring your mask is of the highest quality is our way of showing that we care. And we supply masks for healthcare workers and for the general public, so that we all can keep ourselves safe.
Just like Ziel was founded with the idea that fashion can be more sustainable, the PPE industry should be more sustainable as well. In the last 1.5 years Hudson Valley Mask Company has worked on developing a 99.95% biodegradable mask which are being sold through our partners. Contact us if you’d like to learn more.
